today might be very busy to everyone trying to prep or relax to look good for a date with their special one but for me staying at home would be the perfect idea as Mr B would be at work and this ligament pain is killing me. enough said

living in a tropical island means you gotta have those bikinis and swimsuit always ready but if your living with a budget its not really easy and then if your on the bustier side its hard to find an affordable one. so i look up online on how to make your own bikini top which is pretty much easy using an old bra, and strechy fabric. i dont really have the step by step guide but you can find it online and in youtube and this is what i came up with

i like it very much and i dont have to deal with it getting loose or gatting an underboob accident. you know what i mean?

i plan on making another one with different colors and pattern.

i dont really know what im going to post up in here, im not really new into blogging as i have my nail polish related blog but it seems as though im having a hard time keeping up with this one its like something is preventing me to post anything on this blog. maybe pregnancy brain?

as i sit here and wait for the arrival of the baby theres a lot of things that i wanted to do but cannot do.ha!! and in terms of excuses i always have a lot

anyhow,, i went through my facebook pictures and saw this

i think most people who sew and have a cat know how hard it is to finish a project without getting disturbed by our furbabies

and when they get tired, they would sit and lie comfortably on our chair,,

these picture were taken about a year ago but up until now she still help me with my sewing

Hi Blogger!!!

i found this pictures in my old Blog and i think its worth sharing here. 

i live in Trinidad and Tobago particularly in tobago and everyone who had been here knows how lovely the island is.

Tobago is a Holiday destination. a paradise spot and one would wish to come bak over and over again,. The island is Famous for its unspoilt beaches and calm Blue Water.

one Beach that stand out is Pigeon Point . if you are new here this is a number 1 suggestion to go to. 

and since youre in pigeon point you should try to go to tours atleast the glass bottom boat., 

i dont have much pictures its really wonderful! specially the snorkeling thing,. even if you dont know how to snorkel you would be able to see the reef by the glass on the boat

this was in Nylon Pool .. its in the center of the sea but was soo shallow and so clear that you would think there is a pool in the center of the sea. and as they say if you bathe in Nylon pool you would become 10 yrs younger. 

underwater in nylon pool, i look so hideous ... do you see how clear the water is???

and ofcourse since ive been here i had always been curious of flating my hair . as what they call braiding your hair., a friend of mine did it to me, 

i can say it takes a lot of patience to be able to do it. we only did half of my head and it took us about 1.5 hrs.

it also hurt a lot. like my hair is being rip off. i took it off after the 3rd day,

My cinderella dress

this was a dress i made last year, i was supposed to used it for my birthday but a lot of drama happened and i wasnt able to wear it.,

i love blue!! its my fave color and whenever i buy something it has to be blue,. blue calms my mind and give me like a peaceness color. and then i tried adding lace too cause there will always be sophistication with laces.

anyway i did this dress when i was still learning and fortunately it looks wearable,. i really like it i just done know why i havent used it yet,, yup!!! its still tuck away in the closet. 

i also make it a high-low dress as last year h-l dress are popular in the island and i dont really want to spend $50 for a high-low dress cause i can make one anyway., 

sorry for the image quality i only took this picture using the tablet and Mr B. dont really have time to take every single picture of me with all the dresses or anything that i make,. i need to improvise

this is the dress that inspired me,. the color and the lace is what i really like,.

My first every bag!!!

a couple of months ago i decided to make my own bag,
i did my first using a cloth i dont really like but i was wonderin why i bought it. anyways i made a simple grocery bag and here it is without the handle. at one point a was actually thinking to stop as it doesnt really look like a bag but then i decided to go on and add handles.

i was so happy i did continue as it really look like a bag (not that it look like a cat )

and i add a flower to fancy it up a bit

and heres the finish look

i used it a couple of times specially whenever im going to the beach

after this one i couldnt help but sit down in fornt of the computer and look for some easy to do bag patterns 

and i think most of my bags now are made by me,, ahem* another big saving for me.

pink floral dress

this is one of the  first dresses that i made and i was still in my old room before which explains the background, anyway, i made these dresses with just a meter and half of fabric and then i used the elastic thread on the bottom bobbin,

theres a lot of how to's to make this dress and its really easy to make.

i did a lot more dress like this as i live in Trinidad and Tobago which only have dry season and rainy season so flowy dress would be really comfortable to wear.

this really saves me a lot, okay you might read again and again in this blog how happy i am in saving in making my own dresses and clothes and bag and everything else :)

and i made it for only $5

oh!!! and also some people ask me to make them one too which i sold for $15

so yeah its a nice profit as well.

first post! a start of a new journey!

Good Morning felas!!

its been a year since a started sewing and im hook up. i mean why not right? it can save you tons of money and make something that really fit you well.

looking through my files i found pictures of the dresses that i did, well not all but some of it. so i decided to give blogging a try again. i had a nail addiction blog which honestly i neglected because my attention changes its course to sewing . however,,, i want to go back to blogging and i promise to myself to make it up on my nail blog and share the things that sewing world teaches me. 

I am in now way a professional and i just learn as i sew. 

and this skirt is the first wearable clothing that i made. 

i remembered i was trying to create a layered skirt but its not what exactly i expected so i made a simple one

i excitedly bought a fabric and since i love blue this is what i got

i have been using both of the skirt until now,. so thats i year of wearing them and i love them!
